Century from Azhar took Pakistan to first ODI series win in 2 Years – Pak vs Zim, 2nd ODI 2015 – Review


It was sensible batting display from captain Azhar Ali & Haris Sohail which made Pakistan win their First bilateral ODI series in 2 years. Azhar Ali won the toss & decided to bat first in 2nd ODI of the series. Pakistan went unchanged from their last win; Zimbawe was forced to make some changes with injuries & suspended regular captain Elton Chighumbura also had to sit out. Hamilton Masakadza had to take the responsibility of leading the side.

Zimbabwean openers once again put 50 runs opening stand; though this time with new opening pair in which Vusi Sibanda was paired with Chamu Chibhabha. Pair reached 50 run mark in 13th over of the innings with Chibhabha doing bulk of the scoring contributing 40 runs of 41 balls whereas sleeping partner Sibanda scored just 7 runs after facing 31 deliveries.
